Obituary. Armstrong MALTBIE.

Armstrong MALTBIE, insurance man, of 60 Downing Street, Brooklyn, died yesterday at Grant Lake, N.Y., at the age of 82. His firm was Miller and Maltbie, of 84 William street, Manhattan. Mr. Maltbie entered the insurance business as a young man and he was a pioneer in the field of fire insurance adjusting of which he was clear here. He was also president and treasurer of the New York Appraisal Company. Until a few months ago he was active in business. Then his health fail- ed. He died at Brant Springs, the home of his son. William Davenport MALTBIE.

Mr. MALTBIE was treasurer of the Lincoln Club of Brooklyn, for many years and he was a Mason. Two grandsons and three great-grand-children also survive."

Note. Apparently William Davenport MALTBIE, 3rd, had two sons, and there were three children in the next generation.
